Co-op Community Fund
Cruse Bereavement Care Hertfordshire has been chosen for the next round of the Co-op Local Community Fund. The funding round will start on Sunday, 28 October 2018. From this date, Co-op Members can choose our cause to give their 1% to when they spend on selected own-brand products and services. If you are not already a Co-op member – you can find out about Co-op membership in-store or online at www.coop.co.uk/membership and don’t forget to choose us as your chosen Charity.
The funding period will run for 12 months until the 26 October 2019.
High Sheriffs Award
The 2017-2018 High Sheriff, Will Hobhouse, chose the theme of ‘volunteering’ for the High Sheriffs Awards. Cruse Bereavement Care Hertfordshire were delighted to receive an award in the ‘Families’ categories. Along with the award we were pleased to receive a cheque for £2000.
Letchworth Bereavement Support and Friendship Group
We are pleased to announce that we have a new Bereavement Support and Friendship group starting in Letchworth on the 12th February. If you would like more details please see our group support page.

Over the Christmas period, our local helpline will be closed to give our hardworking helpline team some time off. If you wish to speak to someone about local support and are happy to be called back in the New Year, please leave a message on the Hertfordshire helpline.

Tesco’s Bags of Help Scheme
Cruse Bereavement Care Hertfordshire has been chosen as one of three charities that shoppers can vote on as their chosen charity. Our Project is: ‘Family Bereavement Days’, which we plan to run next year.
Voting will take place during November and December 2017. To vote, you will need to make a purchase within one of the three stores below of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it’s not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.
