Anyone can contact us if they want to talk about themselves or someone they know who has been affected by a death.

Our volunteers offer six sessions of support and talk to bereaved people either on the telephone or in their own homes, listening to their unique stories.  We don’t want to tell clients how they should feel or what they should do.  Instead, we offer emotional and psychological support – sometimes with a little practical help – enabling them to regain some control over their lives.  The service is confidential and free.

We also run groups in some parts of the county and provide children and young people support by our one-day family workshops or by one-to-one support.

Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading charity specialising in bereavement within the UK.  Each year over 100,000 people contact the organisation for help and information.  There are many branches spread around the country and we represent Cruse Bereavement Care across the county of Hertfordshire.
